Nitro Men’s Slash Pink LE Snowboard 2023 Nitro

The idea of the limited Pink Quivers came from Bryan Fox to create a unique focus on the shapes and simplicity of the quiver series and also created an artistic video project around them.

Influenced by all the new shapes in surfing, Nitro decided to create the new snow surf board, with a 3D contoured shape, and reinforced edge and insert areas for added support and durability. The new 3D machined Balsa Core creates a durable lightweight surf like feel when you are navigating you way down untracked pow fields, while the Cam-Out Camber and Tapered Directional Shape provide the stability you need for tricky situations.

True Camber is good old standard camber, which provides the stability, and pop many shreds can’t live without. The amount of snap and support you get from a cambered board is unrivalled by any other camber design. Our True Camber varies between board models because each board is specifically designed for a certain terrain type of type of riding. For example, the True camber in Nitro’s Pantera has a larger height for maximum response, while the True Camber in our freestyle boards are lower to provide you with a more freestyle friendly flex, without losing the support and trust you need for stomping landings. Camber is camber there is not point in overcomplicating it!

Shape: Directional Tapered

Directional tapered boards excel in a pure mountain environment. The tail sinks in pow for better float and quicker turns.

A directional shape with a longer, softer nose and a shorter, stiffer tail get taken to the next level with a tapering design—which sees a wider nose tapering into a narrower tail. The advantages are two-fold: this shape not only sees mega-enhanced floatation with a surfy feel in deep powder, it also creates a faster turning snowboard which is noticeably more nimble and great for tree riding.
