Kick open the door to the whole mountain. This board delivers freeride freedom for young rippers looking to go bigger.
For kids who see the whole mountain as their playground, the kids’ Burton Family Tree Hometown Hero Snowboard offers the freedom to ride it all with style. Its directional shape and taper help make each powder day more epic than the last by adding nose-lifting float. This young ripper can carve lower and hold a tighter edge for freeride fun in all conditions.
Features:
Super Fly 800g Core: Super Fly 800G Core is a dual-species wood core that is loaded with pop and alternates between hard and soft woods to reduce overall weight without limiting performance.
Dualzone EGD: Engineered wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones perpendicular to the core for more edge-hold, response, and strength.
Directional Flex: Directional Flex features increased pop in the tail and a more resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control through all terrain and conditions.
Triax Fiberglass: Triax Fiberglass provides versatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred.
The Channel®: The Channel Board Mount is designed to help dial in the perfect stance and is compatible with all major bindings.
12mm Taper: Taper provides a versatile ride that promotes free and easy turns, making this board perfect for riding in any condition
Profile:
Directional Camber
Camber underfoot with a bit of rocker lift in the nose gives you the ultimate best of both worlds for a pow ready board that holds up in any condition.
This board bend has entry rocker that adds lift to the nose while a camber section under both feet maintains momentum and stability through deep-driving turns and variable conditions. This bend caters to those who like the attributes of traditional camber but want something that will get up to speed and float easier in pow.
Shape:
Directional
A smooth, reliable ride.
Directional shapes generally feature a longer, softer nose and a shorter, stiffer tail. These shapes thrive in an all-mountain environment, as they possess the ability to ride more smoothly than their twin-tip counterparts and behave more reliably in variable snow conditions, anywhere from choppy snow to deeper powder. More twin-looking directional shapes where the difference between nose and tail appear minimal will perform best as crossover freestyle snowboards for those looking to still access the park, while more exaggerated differences will excel for additional float in deep powder.
Flex:
5 (Scale 1-10)
Versatility at its finest. From the park to the peak and anywhere in between.
Base:
Sintered
High-end base material that is harder, more durable, and faster than extruded bases.
