The EMB isn’t just an everyday man’s board, it’s an every mountain board. The skate-inspired snap of DC’s lock & load camber and the super-pressable flex of the biax glass layup give it free reign in any terrain. As part of DC’s winter 22/23 artist series, they worked up with legendary pro skater and artist Andy Howell. Fun fact, Andy was the first artist to have his work showcased when DC launched their first snowboard line in 2006. This latest graphic pays homage to his east coast roots, from the early days at Mt. Trashmore to NYC and everything in between. His intricate and irreverent design celebrates the always evolving connection between skate, snow, and DC Shoes. Howell’s artwork looks extra vibrant thanks to our PLT (PURE LIQUID TECHNOLOGY) topsheet. This fade and scratch resistant tech ensures that the “Adventures of Howell” will be looking good for many years.

Profile: Lock & Load Camber
Traditional camber through the midsection with longer contact points at tip and tail. This skate-inspired profile provides the power and pop of camber with enhanced stability and reduced hookiness.
Shape: Directional
A smooth, reliable ride.
Directional shapes generally feature a longer, softer nose and a shorter, stiffer tail. These shapes thrive in an all-mountain environment, as they possess the ability to ride more smoothly than their twin-tip counterparts and behave more reliably in variable snow conditions, anywhere from choppy snow to deeper powder. More twin-looking directional shapes where the difference between nose and tail appear minimal will perform best as crossover freestyle snowboards for those looking to still access the park, while more exaggerated differences will excel for additional float in deep powder.
Flex: 6 (Scale 1 – 10)
Versatility at it’s finest. From the park to the peak and anywhere in between.
Base: Sintered Supreme
A versatile base material in between sintered and extruded.
